Assistive device for maintaining the position of a neurological patient

A rehabilitation aid designed for maintaining the posture of a neurological patient (feg. stroke patient). Mesh-like tubular ribbon is used on the hand to enhance friction between contacting surfaces, for example, while eating and moving around with mobility aids. The device helps to increase the patient’s functional capacity and independence. Positioning therapy and active rehabilitation go hand in hand in stroke patient rehabilitation. You can cut a hole for the thumb in the tubular ribbon to suit its intended use. For use at room temperature.  

Structure

Made from synthetic rubber. Does not contain latex or silicone. Grip Ribbon is structured to be mesh-like, breathable, and adaptable to the shape of the hand. The mesh structure of the product does not unravel.

Washing instructions

Can be washed in a washing machine at 60 degrees Celsius with mild detergent, rinsing is recommended.
